My Vogue Wardrobe was born from a simple truth: I never fit the traditional Fashion Designer mould so I stopped trying to early on.

​After years of study, with my MA in tow from The Royal College of Art in London and after designing womenswear runway pieces for Hugo Boss in New York, I realised the high-fashion grind wasn’t where I belonged. The endless cycle of creating, the pressure of fast-paced production and the disconnect from meaningful craftsmanship left me craving something more personal.

What has always inspired me is the art of creating beautifully made, one-of-a-kind garments. Pieces

that make people stop, stare, and feel something. For me, fashion has never been about mass produced or off the peg clothing; it’s been about creating this distinct feeling whilst wearing fashion. Whilst it rare, when I try something on, I know instantly if it's me; I'd bring it home and my mum would say "that's so Lou Lou" because I've never followed a trend, rather collected one off pieces that have built my very own (kind of crazy) wardrobe.

I also ​spent years admiring beautifully curated looks in Vogue, collecting the magazines, turning the pages down on the couture pieces I'd never be able to afford or experience. A girl can dream right, and that's exactly what I did, I've been thinking on this for years so finally I created exactly that, an opportunity for others to create their very own Vogue wardrobe.
